Feyjoo, an important 18th century Spanish critic and moralist, here defends 
his multi-volume work entitled THEATRO CRITICO. See Palau 91085 and 91104. 
Lasalla’s Ibarra bibliography lists a 1761 printing of the first work (“
Ilustracion Apologetica”) but not our 1769 imprint. Lasalla does record the 1769 
edition of the second part (“Justa Repulsa”) as #251.
