engraved plates. Cont. calf, red & brown spine labels, over marbled boards, 
covers stamped in gilt with the cartouche of “The Society of Writers to the Signet.
” Spine quite scuffed & hinges cracked but still attached.     $850.00 (trade

A continuous run of this very rare journal from Vol. I, no. 1, to Vol. III, 
no. 24. It ceased publication 4 years later in 1842. One of the sections in 
each volume is “Voyages Scientific.”
