A very unusual memoir, the only one I am aware of by an undertaker from 
this period. Rogers writes with great verve and combines humor with dignity 
in just the right balance. He saw many types of mourner and pseudo-mourner, 
and describes them with a shrewd eye and dry wit. A rather scarce title, 
with only 3 OCLC listings. Hardcover. 5"x7", 87 pages, portrait 
frontispiece, 9 b/w illustrations; light wear, front (blank) endpaper

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges
are $5.00 for the first book, and $1.50 for each additional book.
Shipments outside the U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns
if we are notified within ten days of your receipt of the books-please
ask for full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add
5% state sales tax.
