We offer the following pamphlet arising from the German Revolutions of 1848:

[MOMMSEN, Theodor, ed.] DIE GRUNDRECHTE DES DEUTSCHEN VOLKES. MIT
BELEHRUNGEN UND ERLAEUTERUNGEN. ZWEITE UNVERAENDERTE AUFLAGE. Leipzig:
Georg Wiegands Verlag, 1849. (The Basic Rights of the German People . .
.) 103, [1] pages. Small octavo, pamphlet, sewn, cover-title, title leaf
somewhat edge-worn, partly unopened. (Contains many references to unity
and freedom. Mommsen - later a Nobel Prize-winner - edited a liberal
newspaper during the Revolution of 1848; his participation in the Dresden
uprising cost him his place. Rather scarce.) $125.00
