illustrated account of travel & big-game hunting in the Rocky Mountains of
British Columbia and Alberta. Front free endpaper neatly excised, otherwise
a fine, bright copy, excellent condition for this volume. $150.00 US

original pictorial dark-red cloth titled in gilt and decorated with an
illustrations in many colours on front panel & spine, top edges gilt. 453
pp. Frontispiece with tissue guard plus 63 additional photographic plates
by the author. Subtitled "The Unique Record of a Sportsman's Year Among the
Northernmost Tribe - The Big Game Hunting, The Native Life, and The Battle
for Existence Through the Long Arctic Night". One plate has a slight tear
and another has slight creasing; front & rear endpaper hinges repaired,
some light bumping to the lower corners and a small bit of chipping to the
pictorial covers but overall a very good, copy, attractive and solid.
